Then after the video, be sure to debrief it with some open-ended questions to promote discussion and challenge them to apply the lessons learned to their personal and professional lives! Take the concepts presented in the video and make your talk as specific as you can to your job, industry, tasks, equipment, and work environment. In this case try not to let them get away with thinking that this guy is an incompetent buffoon and that this would never happen to them. Of course, you can't control the way people think, but I'm saying to attempt to challenge them and persuade them to not dismiss this guy as a clown. I don't think I'm better than this guy, but I can learn from him and be smarter. We all have left our guard down at some point. Try to ask questions and even give personal examples of when you've missed things, been distracted, or otherwise hurt yourself in a foolish way. Challenge them to apply this situation to themselves and identify how they can improve.
